ABOUT BENDY

Bendy is a small-group stretching and mobility community in Vancouver. We run structured 4-week programs designed for people who want to feel more capable in their bodies but struggle to make stretching a consistent habit on their own.

Anyone 18+ who wants to feel less stiff and more capable. Whether you sit at a desk, you're a runner or gym-goer who needs mobility work, you've been dancing for years, or you've never stretched in your life, there's a program for you. All levels welcome.

Yes, you need to be 18 or older to join a class.
ABOUT CLASSES & PROGRAMS

Classes are 60 minutes. We start with a warm-up, then move through a mix of dynamic and static stretches that build flexibility, strength, and balance. Expect to feel it the next day.

Programs run for 4 weeks, with 1 class per week (4 classes total). They build progressively, so each class sets up the next. Drop-ins are single $38 classes, great if you want to try Bendy before committing or join a class mid-month. Programs are the path we recommend for real progress, but drop-ins are a perfectly good entry point.

Your first 4-week program is $120 with code STARTBENDY. Regular program pricing after that is $140 for 4 classes. See programs page for upcoming start dates.

We currently run two programs: Mobility + Posture 360, and Bendy Splits. Both are 4 weeks long, 1 class per week, and run during the same month. You can join one or both. See classes page for details.

Yes. Our classes welcome all levels, and instructors offer modifications so you can work at your own pace. Most people are surprised by how much progress they see in their first 4 weeks.

During stretches, your instructor will use gentle touch to help you adjust your form and go deeper into the stretch safely. If you prefer not to be touched, just let your instructor know at the start of class.

Mild discomfort is normal when stretching. Sharp pain is not. If you feel sharp pain, stop immediately and tell your instructor, who will offer a modification.
LOGISTICS & POLICIES

Yourself, water, and something warm to put on after class to keep your muscles warm. We provide mats and all equipment you'll need. You can bring your own mat if you prefer.

Fitted athletic clothing you can move comfortably in (leggings, shorts, a snug top). Nothing too loose, since we do a lot of folding and stretching.

We allow up to 5 minutes. Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes before class starts so you have time to settle in. Anything later than 5 minutes into class means you'll have to skip that session, since warming up properly is part of staying safe.

We encourage you to leave your phone out of the class itself and stay focused on the workout. Photos and videos before or after class are totally fine, and if you post, tag us @bendy.class! Just be mindful of others around you, when taking photos. Not everyone wants to be in your shot.

For programs, you get one complimentary reschedule during your 4-week program if you can't make a class. For drop-ins, there are no reschedules, so please make sure the date works before booking. In both cases, we can't offer refunds.
